FINANCIAL POLICY


At Endodontic Health of Palo Alto, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options.  


FOR THOSE PATIENTS WITHOUT DENTAL INSURANCE:

Before your appointment, one of our assistants will contact you to discuss your possible treatment expenses. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.  A fee will be charged for returned checks.  Most cases referred to our specialty practice are complex and may require multi-appointments in order to complete the treatment.   


FOR THOSE PATIENTS WITH DENTAL INSURANCE:

If you have dental insurance, please provide your insurance information to us prior to your first appointment.  Your dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company.  We are not a party to that contract.  The responsibility of payment ultimately lies with the patient, not the insurance company.  


You will be required to pay for your dental treatment on the date of service.   We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.  A fee will be charged for returned checks.   As a courtesy, we will work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures, and we will file your claim on your behalf.  The collection of benefits from insurance companies is the patient's responsibility.  Most dental insurance benefits are subject to limitations, exclusions, deductibles, co-payments and maximum benefit coverage.  Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks.   
 

Please remember that you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
